Abstract

Carlos Mayo initiative has been instrumental in exploring the often complex world of retail business through the study of the pulperí­as in Buenos Aires with novel sources. However, there is little reference to other actors within the retail business in the nineteenth century embody multiple expressions displacing end pulperí­as in outlying areas of the city and end well with the dominance they had had since the founding of the city
