Abstract

In this paper we analyze the selk ´nam mobility depending on theuse of space and resource provisioning, beginning with the disturbance by the colonization process. It proposed an approach from a demographic perspective, the analysis of various sources consistent, such as censuses, civil and parochial registration records and other official documents. We propose one more way to reconstruct of selk ´nam trajectory about mechanisms of survivaland we let outlined the relationship between this trajectory and the role of biological mestizaje.
