Abstract

The purpose of this paper is the study of the process of tax on estates during the 1940s and 1950s as part of a set of policies around land ownership and land tenure (leases and colonization) that provide levels production, accumulation and income distribution based on controlling social order and ensure the legitimacy of political power; articulated analysis of the resonances and responses from owners of large corporations in specific contexts, allowing more apprehension comprehensive nature and performance of this rural social class
